Trip catalogue and admin system for a travel agency in Bosnia

A travel agency in Banja Luka running small-group trips to Bali, the Maldives, Japan and further, with nothing built to sell them on. Every departure now has its own page, and the agency publishes, edits and sells out each one themselves. Taken from the first conversation through to production, and still looked after.

What the business needed

Rio Putovanja started in 2025 in Banja Luka, selling small-group trips to places the region's agencies mostly don't run — Bali, the Maldives, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Algeria. They had the trips and no way to put them in front of anyone.

The constraint that shaped the whole build: departures change constantly. Dates move, prices settle late, and a trip sells out mid-week. A site the agency could not edit themselves would have been out of date within a fortnight — and a sold-out trip still showing as available is worse than no site at all.

What was built

Every departure has its own page: the itinerary, the dates, the price, and a gallery of where you actually go. The index groups them the way the agency talks about them — running now, going later, sold out — so the front page tells the truth about availability without anyone having to remember to take a trip down.

Behind it is an admin the agency runs themselves. They add a departure, set its dates and price, publish it, and mark it sold out when it goes. No code, no deploy, no email to me. Around the trips sit a blog and a section on Bosnia itself, for visitors travelling the other way.

There is no checkout. Rio sells by conversation — a Viber group, a phone call, a message — so the site's job is to get the right person to the right trip page and then get out of the way.

Scope

Idea to production, and everything in between: the domain and DNS, hosting, the design, the build, the admin, the content structure, and the deploy. The agency arrived with a business and came away with a site running under their own name.

It is still maintained under the same ongoing care offered to every client here — updates, patches, monitoring, and content edits when they need them.

No performance figures are published here yet. They go up when they have been measured on the live site, not before.
